(GEORGETOWN, Co., SHOT 8/11/2004).About 35 members of the Denver Rescue Mission's "New Life" rehabiliatation program climbed to the more than 14,000 foot peak of Mount Bierstadt near Georgetown, Co. Wednesday. Two of the members climbing to the top were Justin Cottrell (left), 32, of Denver and Aaron Pytko, 32, of Conifer. Cottrell has been in the program 31 days and Pytko has been in the program for six months. Both are in the program at the Rescue Mission's Farm location in Wellington, Co. The "New Life" program is a long term Christian based recovery program that gives the men involved the tools to become self-sufficient and overcome various addictions.
